Chris,
This sounds bloody wonderful. I've always liked the
idea of these things. Have you driven a car with one fitted? Are they to suit the bolt-in UJ type halfshafts like on
the 240K or the circlip-retained CV type like on the R30
Skyline?
Pity they are a bit out
of my price range :-(
If I
happen across a lazy $1250 I'll be in touch...

Brand new Torsen/Quaife stlye LSD
centers to suit Nissan R180 diffs $1,250. Can arrange fitment
and setup for around $130.
These are one of the best LSD's around. Fitted to
the new s15 Silva and Skyline GTR R34.Built
with the same internals that are being used in the current
GT3 Porsche racing diffs. These things put out in excess of 600HP
and the diffs haven't had any problems. Torsen/Quaife diffs use a worm
style gear setup that senses the amount of torque being put
through each axel. It transfers the power to the opposite side if it
sences differences between the two eliminating wheel spin before it happens.
Provides excellent traction for racing and are perfect for road
use. Better than clutch pack or viscous diffs as you never have to
rebuilt or reset them, just fit and forget.
