I finally started and drove my resto today ( only up
and down the drive .. no rego)

I ran into a problem with the clutch slave cylinder.
The piston popped out !!!! The only thing I can think
of is the throw out bearing sleeve is the wrong size
ie length!!! I am sure I have a low set clutch kit and
a long throw out sleeve, but then again ?? It has been
some time since I put the G/Box in. 

Upon a closer inspection (with the rubber boot off) it
appears that the piston does come out a long way and
doesn't appear to bottom out in the back of the slave
when at rest.

I was thinking that perhaps I could manufacure a
longer adjusting rod till it is time to replace the
clutch. Any advice would be welcome.

Ohh it is a 240k 5 speed and a Stanza Clutch Kit
behind a reasoanbly worked L18.
