My last 1600 had an early model galant wagon console fitted and did the job well.
There is a huge hole in the front that you could fit a front cover to and fit all the
guages and switches your heart desires.
I didn't fit any guages in mine because when I fitted it it was winter and it did a
really good job off directing the heater to me at about chest level as the 1600 only
has windscreen and floor heating it was a nice change.
