Chris, If the key has busted off flush with the face of the lock (i.e not
beyond the tumbles ) you might be able to get it out still. I did this by
cutting a narrow strip off a thin feeler guage and putting a tiny drop of
super glue on one side. Carefully slide it down the side of the lock, allow
it to stick and pull it out. I've only done this twice but it worked both
times.

I'm not sure if you can even take an ignition lock barrel apart that easily,
never tried.
