A .63 on a Z18 gives great power from start to finish as far as overkill even with the larger T4's and Turbonetics T 66-1 etc there are ways around everthing.

As a matter of interest I still have the original set of sandbent extractors off one of the Gibson Bluebirds.

Daniel,

Sounds good to me!  I think I would get it and stick it away until required. If you build those Gibson B/Bird style extractors, you could mount an external wastegate on them.

List,

I want to upgrade the turbo (standard one) on my Z-18et.  I'm in no hurry except that I can get my hands on a T3 without the actuator, done 65 000 kays and has a .63 A/R on the turbine housing.  All for about 150 bucks.  Do I get it or wait till I really need one?  Is it too big?  One person from a speed shop said it would be overkill but some others said it would suit.  I'm open to suggestions /advice / opinions.

Cheers
