Andrew,
I have done this conversion myself its not that  hard to fit them in,
not sure what model 260 it was but you will know when you see it cause they
have the same half shafts as the 1600/180b.so grab the lot.
yes you will need to modify the moustache bar or you could get one redy made
from sss automotive in syd.
you will also need to modify where the new moustache bar will sit , there's
a x-member which is welded between the two rails  in front of the wheel well
that need trimming so the bar will clear it.
also the tailshaft end will need to be matched to the r200 yoke as the have
different bolt pattern.
