I live 5 mins from Parramatta, and a few other Ozdatters live nearby too. It
is in the geographical centre of Sydney, halfway between the city and the
outer west (Penrith). The surrounding suburbs vary quite a bit from some
cheaper ones to more "classy" suburbs to the north. You should be able to
find somewhere to rent without too much hassle, but all rent prices in
Sydney are high compared to other cities.
