Like the aluminium adaptor plates?

I had a go once. got some 10mm aluminium and tried to make a copy of the
existing one (i wanted a downdraft weber to E15, not the L24 one i had).

bascially just measure the two openings you want to join, make a circular
whole as big as the smallest opening in the middle and then taper it out
to one side. Drill appropriate wholes.

BTW, we never got round to finishing it because we ended stuffing it up
and i don't wanna fit it now anyway.

Or spend $35 or $40 on one ready made.

I wasn't gonna spend that much for making a big whole in a piece of $5
aluminium though..

Dunno exactly how to make the whole though because you would need a huge
drill. Maybe a milling machine or something, I don't knwo much about
fabricating equipment so i got my mate to do it but never got to that
stage..
