sr20t transplant

Hey list, my missus has become addicted to my FJ20T in my 1600 and wants more poke for her car.  It's a N15 (1998) model Pulsar with the GA16 (1.6) Nissan motor in it.  The only option in australia was an SR20.  Now for the question: Did this model ever come with an SR20T (ie in Japan) ?  and are half cut's available ?  Or should I go and get a FWD sr20t with all the goodies and bolt her in ?  Ideas ?
