you are so lucky you have a 1200 because you can get thai replacement parts
as the are still available new over there. My mates dad built his 1200 using
all thai panels except roof and gx bonnet, although you have to play with
panel alignment. The new parts include all lenses and the chrome surrounds
you are after and from memory they are really cheap, i'll find out where he
gets them from and get back to you.
