Hi everyone, I'm not sure how many of you follow or even know about NASCAR,
but yesterday one of the sports greatest driver's Dale Earnhardt, died at
age 49, in a crash on the last lap of the Daytona 500 driving his renowned
black no 3 Goodwrench Chevy Monte Carlo. He was the only driver to win 7
championships, equalled only by Richard Petty of the 70's. He was my
favourite driver, despite normally a mid field qualifying position, he most
always made it to the front of the field. Nicknamed "The Intimidator" for
his aggressive driving style, and having finally won the only race that
eluded him, the Daytona 500, in 1998, I think he died doing what he loved,
and in the end that's really the only thing that matters.
Sorry if I bored you non Nascar people out there, I just felt I had to write
something after hearing the news.
