I heard somewhere the A series will almost match up and you just have to
enlargen  a couple of holes on the bellhousing i think.  I haven't sussed it out
yet as i haven't got the E15 out of the car (but its now running which im happy
about.. blows a lot of smoke from the turbo but a T25 should solve that.)

Is it hard to get adaptor plate for the bellhousing to make something like a
skyline 5 speed or something that will take a bit of grunt?

I figure it would cost as much to find a E15ET FWD gearbox as to buy a RWD
gearbox and make it fit and then you have something that can stand the power too
(hopefully)

I really would like the E15 in a 1000, that would be sick..
