It costs manufacturers a lot to build shells, and so the cost of producing a new 1600 shell would most probably be more than the modern day market value of a whole car. This, and rarity, are reasons why the shells you have heard about (if they exist) are so expensive.
I think it costs ford over $16g in materials to produce a falcon......

Guys and Gurls,
I am in need of some information. I have been told by some people shells are attainable from Japan as there is a stockpile of them. Is this true? Also i have read that they were available but at a cost of about 8000 Aus each. If they are available y would they be that much ?! ... i can get one here noo probs .... because if it was viable i would look seriously at gettin one.
