Daniel:
Was just wondering how you're going with the
project
List:
I have a Z18ET exhaust manifold and a spare Z20E
block/head so I'm planning on prepping it for the turbo. I am considering
a Z22 crankshaft, which is a bolt in, but this would mean custom pistons
because it would require a pin height of about 28mm and about a 15cc dish
in order to keep compression turbo friendly (8.5:1)
What I wanted to know was, has anybody had custom
forged pistons made to order? Where from, and how expensive were
they? Alternatively, does anybody know of an OEM piston of this size (87mm
bore) with 21mm wristpins?
mmmm.... Z22ET :)
Cheers
- Tom
