I have a full stock 1971 1600 3 Speed Auto Sitting
in my driveway I need to get rid of. (Auto being perfect for an import motor
conversion). It was suppose to be my second project car but I've decided it's
time to start settling down and putting some money away for a house. It's Ideal
as a project as all the panels are very straight and there is no flaking rust on
it... all it needs is a good sand down to get rid of surface rust. The person I
bought it off's wife slightly hit the bumper at the front which then they tried
to open the bonnet and flexed it up...(hard to explain)... but the
car's roof, and side panels are very straight for it's age. They also assured me
the motor still runs and it has a rebuilt head and weber on the L16. I don't
know much about L Motors s so I've never gotten around to trying to start
it but I know it needs ignition spark to start... (I'm an FJ owner). It
has good interior just needs new floor carpet. Other than cleaning up a
few cobwebs and dust it's not too bad a car.
I got it cheap and I don't want to make any
money if it goes to a good home, otherwise I might just get it running
give it a spray job and drive it around as an everyday car. (It was registered
up to 1 1/2 years ago)
