Richard,

My experience of going low at the back is bad news. Sure you get some camber
but also a heap of tow in. When I did this to my car I had 5mm on one side
and 10mm toe in on the other. It tended to make the back end too stable in
corners and caused quite alot of understeer. It will also rob you of some
top speed and stuff up tyre wear.

I took Malcom Coopers advice on this and put in some 240 K rear springs and
have found them a good cheap compromise for slightly lower ride height and
handling.

Regards
Trev

Gotta slot the trailing arm mounting points on the cross member. Fairly
straight forward but a bit tedious.

Good pics and details on the datnet web site.

Subject: DE-CAMBER

Hi

I own a 1972 datsun 1600 which i have just lowered and now it has lots of
negative camber on the back wheels.
Dose any one know how to eliminate this camber problem?

cheers, Richard
