smokey 120y

I am driving round a Sh*tbox 120y while I paint my 1600, I was wondering what the cause of the badly smokey engine... the engine still runs fine and does not blow smoke the whole time, after sitting still for a while the smoke "builds up" and then when I push the accelerator it blows it all out the back.... I also put some unleaded in it, and the smoke slowed down, almost stoped, but after using leaded again its back.
