Andrew,
Take the back plate of and look to see if you can see clutch pack plates or
if completly sealed it will be a viscous type

I've just found a 280z diff in a wrecking yard.It feels like an LSD.How
can i tell if it is a clutch type or viscous type?What ratio would it be
being an auto?It has the the bolt that holds the shaft to the centre.
