Bruce,
I like this idea and will try it or Paddy's, allen head grub screw idea.
My old man put me on to STAG sealant 18mths ago and I agree that it is good
stuff.
I will have to check out autobarn for small welsh plugs. I measured the
holes last night and they are only 12mm diameter.
Regards
Trev

Zac,
Very easy to fit, determine the dia of the hole req'd
and buy some from Repco or similiar.
Tap into place, making sure you do it on the edges,
not the centre (this will cup the plug and stuff it).
I generally use "STAG" as a sealant (excellent stuff)
around the outer circumference prior to putting them
in.
The pressure, to the best of my knowledge and
experience, will not cause any seepage into the inlet
mani. They are used on all engine blocks in the water
jacket areas and the only reason they fail is due to
corrosion. So like all good motorists some anti
freeze/anti boil will keep the ph level of the water
at optimum levels

Bruce
