Yep.
Trouble is they get local residents complaining about the noise. Doesn't
help with a new residential estate being built opposite the pit paddock.
Phillip Island is also sound meter territory and we were pinged for 83dbl
halfway down the main straight earlier this year. Winton is OK just 3hrs
away. But Calder is currently in danger of being turned into a housing
estate.
