Paul,

3mm over the dot usually isn't much of a problem especially if it's idling and running well, there is a bit of leeway there but that's about the limit.

regards
Terry

Subject: High float level

I seem to have a high float level in my standard L20B downdraft carby. Would this be a problem? About 3mm over the dot.
