hi, i am in the process of putting a z2.4 crank in a L20b engine.
i thought i had it all worked out but have come across bit of a problem:
i am putting on a Z18 head,40cc chambers,2mm thick (80 thou) copper head
gasket and turbo,
i need abot 8.0 to 1 compression, will a z20 piston and L20 b rod be ok? i was
told that the z20 piston will need machining ,but will there be enough to
machine of to give me 8.0 to 1 comp with a turbo? i was going to use fj20 turbo
rods but it looks like it will need to much work to clear with the L20 b
pistons.
i already had it bored out to fit l20b +1mm pistons, but looks like i`ll have to
rebore.
can any one please help? or set me straight....
