thanks for your reply i have looked into the hoses and repaired all
the cracked ones making no difference, as for ignition i do need to
check the leads and plugs but it run's electronic ignition so i hope
the module is not at fault with the rough running. But what i have
noticed that when it starts on cold start the choke is in operation,
and when the choke gradually comes off it stops idling, and if i
physically operate the choke again (when hot) it will idle again
which would point to a fuel problem ( blockage in idle jet? ) or is
it something to do with all those vacuum operated plungers etc
