OK, it makes a bit more sense now. One of the problems with brake mods is if you want to change any of the components you have to take into account the original package as further modification requires you to go back to home plate and start again. We know you have Commy callipers (VL?), 180B struts (must be late model) but what rotors?
 
This combo usually has Magna vented rotors anyway and I'd suggest if that's the case you stick to them as they are a very good upgrade for a 1600 let alone a 1200. This combination will pass any turbo engineering requirements.
 
I'm not a 1200 expert by any means so I've answered this in a generic sort of way - hopefully it may be useful for you.

I have 200b struts and discs with early V8 commodore calipers.
The discs need replacing. Will new 200B discs do, or what other disc options are available as I plan on putting in a CA18DET engine and thought that bigger vented discs would be better in the long run.
 
On rear have a 1200 ute diff housing with 4.3 H165B LSD, unfortuately has drums though with heavy duty liners.
