Morning Brad,
You have posed some good questions that I must admit I
have not thought about. But I have now answered all
and More as to what I think the engine should behave
like.
Gearing:.1.
1.1:Gearbox-260Z with 2.9 first
1.2:Diff-R180 4.9 LS
Suspension:.2.
2.1:Front- Adjustable control arms and radius rods.
2.2:Front- Koni adjustable inserts with King springs
2.3:Rear- Koni Adjustable shocks and King Springs
I set up car up with a little bit of oversteer, And I
like it flickable, if you know what I mean!?!?
Brakes.3.
3.1: Front- twin spoters but want to upgrade one day.
3.2: Rear- 31 disks and calipers.
7/8 master cylinder and 180B booster,
Weight.4.
4.1: Weight- (Wet) with drivers:1200Kg with everything
in it.
My current engine likes to rev but it does not suit
the gearing now (I just changed gearboxes). So I am
now leaning towards torque with a bit of top end. ( I
really want both but I know I cant have it both ways
unless I pay for it).
I run in the 1600-2000cc P3 PRC and I would like to
stay in this class.
We go up to the loop once a week or to a mates farm,
My racing experiance sucks, this year 3 DNF'S due to
machanical breakages and and 1 DNF where I got a bit
too eager, cos we were coming first novice and I
wanted to get in the top 10 in my class. So we have
not finished a race this year, YET!!! HEHEHE
Anyway I think that is all I can think about, Oh yes
My driving style,
Style.5.
5.1:- I am smooth driver and I don't us the brakes
much, I tend to slide the car around to slow down.
