Our 910 only got a girlock caliper with solid disk.
I have been around Sandown in a bluebird wagon which has this or a simular
setup and they work really good. Availability over here could be a problem.

Why don't you try 910 Bluebird front struts as they have vented rotors with
51mm pistons. I use them on my rally car & with good pads(Pagid) they are
excellent.
The only hassle to this upgrade is making up a spacer ring to go between the
bottom of the strut & the ball joint although this is pretty easy to get
made.
