Brad,

Thanks for the information.  The hillclimb is the first competitive stage and is on 
bitumen.  We start at 2pm from the town hall and proceed from there.  We then have a 
service break at Halls Gap and head back to Ararat for the night stages.  The first 
night stage is also on bitumen (great with rally tyres, heaps of noise and bugger all 
grip).  We were also warned to have the engines suitably waterproofed as there is a 
river crossing.

I have been watching the weather and it seems as though it will be clear but f@#$ing 
cold.  Sounds like it will be a great night.  Just gotta watch those trees.
