Thanks for the information. The first corner was an issue but we were OK. A great
view from the top.
My navigator and I finished the rally in pretty good condition. Not sure of the final
placings but I think we were 6th in class and about 35th outright. There were some
really fun stages and then there were some that were very rough. The car was
performed very well except for an intermittent wire that kept coming off the coil.
The day after revealed the full picture. Front left guard became loose, lost rear
mudflaps, bent numberplate and some lost fluid from the gearbox as a result of the
transmission getting hot and blowing fluid out of the vent. Apart from that it
performed really well.
Thanks for taking the photos at the start and on the wtaer crossing. there was a
really nice gold looking 1600 with speedline(?) wheels at the hillclimb. Was that
yours?
All in all a great rally in a great area and location.
