List,
I have made up a custom injection manifold for my 2.4 L20b, and now need to
mount injectors and fuel rail. The runners are alloy tube, so there is no
existing holes for the injectors. I will make the injector mounts up, however
there seems to be many types of fuel rail/injector connecting methods. Some
fuel rails clamp down on an o-ring on top of the injector, and some connect to
a hose and then to the fuel rail.
I would like to choose the simplest and best mounting method that will allow
injector upgrades.....
I would also like to fit a fuel pressure gauge and adjustable pressure
regulator (both on the rai).
If anyone on the list has done this, and advice would be appreciated.
Also, is it better to buy injectrs to suit a future turbo upgrade and run the
injectors at a fraction of their potential, or match the injectors to the
current power output?
I have not purchased any of this hardware yet, so i'm open to opinions.
Regards,
David Thompson.
