I have most of a 280ZX braking system on my 1600.
The 15/16 bore brake master cylinder, front struts (with 1600 spring platforms 1 inch
lower on the strut, 1 inch lowered 1600 springs and modified 280zx tops), handbrake
lever (mounted off a bracket, welded to the drivers seat bracket).
I was going to use the rear discs also, but the 180sx ones I ended up using are very
simmilar. The braking balance is good.
The ride quality is very smooth considering it is very low.
