Hi List,
I thought I'd share this interesting info I found out about radiators, as I
have been searching for one to go on my sr20-dat510.
I was set on a n13 aluminium radiator, but it has the problem of the
inlets/outlets in the wrong place.
I thought aluminium is the way to go but, cos i didn't want to fuk an
expensive motor.

Aluminium:-
Lighter
New cars use it
Cheaper to produce

Copper.

Has nearly twice the heat dissipation as aluminium. copper 0.00404 BTU/sec
, aluminium 0.00203
Copper is further down the Galvanic table than aluminium (meaning is has
better corrosion resistant properties).

So if no-one has any other confliciting info, I'll go for the old fashioned
copper beast. As its only downfall is its weight, not much of a sacrifice,
to keep a motor cool!
any feed back appreciated.

Regards
Justin.
