Lachlan,
All L4 starter motors are interchangeable, I'm not sure about all Z4's but
quite likely they do fit the L$ too, the L6 is too long and hits the engine
mount? don't fit anyway. FJ20 starters fit L/Z and are eccentric so they are
a lot more powerful than a L.

List, I have a problem with my L20 starter motor and I have a spare one
which was off an L18, would this L18 starter be suitable for my L20, if not
