All,
Can anyone recommend a computer program that can work all this stuff out?
i.e you input vehicle weight, gearing and required acceleration and it spews out
necessary power.
Then given the required power, input cam profiles, compression ratios, flywheel mass,
port and valve sizes, bore, stroke and rod length ratios etc...
Sounds like fun and it is always good to start with a plan.
There must be a shareware program out there somewhere!
Regards,
Nick

What about a switchable supercharger? On for power and Off for economy, but
of couse I'd also need fuel injection for that to work well.
