The other thing that turned me off importing a 710SSS from NZ when I was
considering it was that if some wanker in Customs & Excise got the idea that
the car was worth big money in Aus, you'd be up for heaps and it's cash up
front with these blokes. It costs a few hundred dollars for the importers
licence etc - they have all this crap on their web page. It's definitely
designed to discourage car enthusiasts from importing anything other than
new tail lights.

Rick put me onto someone over in WA who brought in a Coupe a fair while ago
(10 Years). When I spoke to him he said it would be around $8,000 to $10,000
to get one from Japan as they are expensive to buy and then the shipping etc
on top.
