Andrew,
There are two sizes of axle in an H190 (23 spline 24mm diameter) and (29
spline &30mm diameter). The smaller centre/axles are used in the 1600 wagon
some 620 2WD utes and some early bluebirds. Later bluebirds use 30mm
diameter as do 620 4WD utes and 720 utes.
Cheers

Subject: H190 axles

Just discovered that the axles in the bluebird wagons are smaller than
the 620 ute.The 620 diff went into the 1200 no problems but the gearing
was to short. So we found a bluebird wagon with a H190 and we'll just
change the gears over(wrong). The bluebird gears and spool wont fit the
alloy carrier,oh well we'll just fit the whole centre(wrong),the axles
are the wrong size.Oh well we'll just remove the side gears from the 620
diff well thats if we hadn't just welded them up.Luckily the wrecker
down the road just got another 620 so maybe this time we'll get it
right.I'm not looking forward to what we might find inside the 720 4wd
lsd centre thats arriving next week.Hmmm maybe one of these centres
might fit a r180.
