List,
I contacted Vicroads and they advised me that as long as the vehicle came 
from the factory with the motor that is in it then it is ok, so I assume 
that 1600 came out with L18 and L16 motors, or was it only the SSS that had 
L18 motors.
Thanks to everyone for their input to date.
