Hi everyone,
I finally fixed my heater. I went to pick and payless, and found a late
model Cressida which had a suitable tap mounted on the firewall. Also
had a look at bluebird and XY falcon ones as well as many others while I
was there. The XY ones look like they would work, but the one there was
shit, and I didn't fancy the $90 for a new one. The Cressida one I found
is off a late 90s... Not exactly sure there wasn't much left of it, no
compliance or chassis nos. It is plastic and has the outlets at 90
degrees like the Jap 1600 heater. I haven't bothered to connect up a
cable as a longer one is required. I just reach under the dash and turn
it on :) Heater works like a furnace now!
Cheers,
