Steve,
According to an old article in zoom the stock motor was rerung and new bearings. The
head was ported with the emphasis being on the exhaust ports and 125lb valve springs
used. The inlet manifold was ported and RB30 throttle body used.Bosch 351
injectors,280 thou lift cam,stainless tubular extractors.The turbo was a t04 v-trim
comp wheel with a o-trim tubine wheel and .63 housing.A huge modified kenworth truck
intercooler, scorcher ignition and motec comp. This gave them 327hp using 17psi.
Wanting more hp they then built a serious motor.Nizmo competition block with nizpro
w-rings and bolt holes machined to suit GTR skyline head bolts(12mm).Nizmo 8 bolt
forged steel race crankshaft with steel light weight flywheel.Nizmo race conrods
with forged pistons with ceramic coated tops and teflon coated skirts.A 90psi spring
for the oil pump, baffled 6 litre sump with windage tray.Inconnel exhaust valves,
heavier valve springs,Phil Morris vernier cam gear and a secret cam designed by Phil
Morris with less ramp speed to allow for higher rpm.The turbo is also a secret but
is similar to the previous one only with a larger comp wheel and probably a larger
turbine wheel and housing.This combo got 418 hp @ 7800rpm at 24psi.
