Minimum tread depth anywhere on a tyre must be above 1.5mm irrespective of
tread wear indicators. The professional finish is a bit much, there are
plenty of cars in primer on the roads around here as there's nothing to say
that it has to be a "professional" finish. As long as there are no shape
edges and the trim is all there then it's roadworthy - have you got a gob's
inspection alternative for a ruling.
pass on the costs, someone in Qld will know the local stuff, most rego
authorities have web sites these days. This looks like a good starting

I tried to get a roadworthy on my 200B and they knocked it back...they want

though they arent below the indicator marks...and they didnt like my body

What's rego worth for 6 months in qld these days? I already got compulsary
third party
insurance...and how much are preffered plates...you used to be able to pick
the letters you want if
they were still available, and within the range.
