Check the Bluebirds list archive, somebody over in the US of A was
considering a KA24DET recently.

My opinion: unless you REALLY wanted to do something different, I wouldn't.
The L and Z series motors have a lot of life left in them yet. The cars we
got KA's in are still reasonably new, so demand and pricing for used engines
is still high.

, parts and spares for these engines like.

into my 1600 of course

i have heard a rumour about them being to tall for the 1600 - but i found a
