James,

I ended up getting a 720 ute diff as this had the 'short nose' pinion.
Any other pinion would have required a shorter tailshaft.
The Mazda and Toyota pinions would almost certainly need to be changed over.

There is a guy in the UK who has a never fitted Quaife (TorSen) H190 LSD that was made
for the factory 240RS rally cars. He wants about 600pounds, about AUD$2000 probably,
and that is just for the centre, no RW&P.
It may be easier to get a 720 detroit locker.

I can't remember why I thought the Mazda and Toyota diffs were H190. I will have to
re-check next time I am up there.

I am still sorting out the Stanza, but it definitely needs a trickier diff for asphalt
work.
Suprisingly, it punches out of corners OK on the dirt even with bald street tyres.

What car are you running?

Regards,
Nick

List, I was scrounging around the wreckers today and found out that Mazda and Toyota commercial vehicles are fitted with the H190 rear end.Is there a way of telling from the rear axle code etc.. What ratio the vehicle has and if it is an LSD or Locker?(I think I found an extremely worn out LSD in a Toyota ute - I can't tell for sure without dis-assembling it) Regards,Nick
