Yeah sorry I should have sent them, I just have been quite busy.
I was the only 1600 out there which is a major suprise, the DatSpeed team
had a sleeper/stocko looking 120Y with an FJ20 in it, nice job, TRX rims and
exhaust were the only visible upgrtades from the outside but under the
bonnet you see the FJ and the nice little intercooler tucked behind the
grill.
There was a blue 1200 coupe with an injected A14 that was quick (ran
consistent 14.7s) and I think that jsut about rounded up the datto crew.
It was my first time dragging and the car still had the spare tire, 3/4 a
tank of fuel, running PULP, with the back seats in and windscreen wipers on
plus my tools as none of my mates wanted to be the 'pit crew' :)

1St run I didn't give it much rthrough the gears, 2 and 3 were pretty good,
4 was just after I let one of the guys I met down there tune my SU's a bit
but with out the opil I needed in the SUs they were flat spotting rthe
entire way down the track .... very disappointing.
My setup is L20B, extractors, twin Su's, elec dissy, H/D clutch, stanza sss
5 speed, standard diff, 205-60-13 tires on 5.5inch rims.
Its for sale, so if anyone is interested in more details let me know.
Thanks for your help list. I began watching this list 4 months before I
bought this datto last october and I knew basically nothing about cars. I
didn't even know what the head was or the water pump.
With your help I have taken this car from a smoky L18 to a grunty L20 and
many other little mods and things along the way. I Thoroughly enjoy working
on the datto but time has come where I can spend an entire Saturday
detailing it or I want to upgrade something else etc and I no longer have
the time to work on it. So with much regret I am selling the 1600 and
hopefuly will find a buyer that will enjoy it as much or more than I have.
