hi, i just taken out my engine , to put a clutch in , going by what the
guy said (bendigo brake and clutch?) its about 3000lb pressure plate with
std type? clutch plate.
i went to take the head of , and sorta dropped the timin chain abit.....
when i assembled the engine , i remember i had HEAPS of pressure on the
chain, and as SOON as i took the cog of the cam it went clunk.......... oh
well...
any way wen i went to undo the head bolts , the first one i went to
undo was the one in the middle of the exhaust side , and for some reason it
was loose , (with only about 15-20 lb torque on it) .
i cant explain why this was the only one loose , this is where the water
was leaking out from, i doubled checked every bolt as i assembled it , maybe
i somehow missed it , but i find this unlikely..... i was going to use
spray on hylomar, but me brother and i decided on using the stuff out the
tube .... i had my head surfaced and block surfaced.
i dont think the head bolt was the cause of it leaking, as yours was
leaking there also.
