The S15 has the same engine as the S14 and S14a with the exception of a few minor mods (eg ball bearing turbo). The power output is the same in both but the S15 is slightly quicker due to a helical LSD (the same out of the old r33 skyline) and the lower ratio 6-speed box. Anyone racing the S15 is putting the old 5 speed box in because it is stronger (6-speed box is the same size as a 5-speed, just the cogs are smaller to fit it all in).
