Hi there Dan here is some info for you I found a website. :O) 1975 160Jsss Coupe (710) Owned by Eddie Rattley from Dorset. Car bodywork is stock apart from black-painted wolfrace wheels. Features include Independant rear suspension, rev counter, pillarless window design. 1595CC OHC L16T Engine. 4 Speed manual transmission. (soon to be changed for a 5 speed) Twin 40mm Dellortto sidedraught carbs, Large bore exhaust system. Number of 710s left in UK less than 55 saloons, and ONLY 17 Coupes!! The wagon/estate was never imported here.
710s ran between the 510 and A10 series . So from about 1973 to 1977. There were 4 door saloons, 2 door coupes and in some lands, an estate car was also sold. There was a body re-style half way through the 710's production where the shape of the rear of the car was altered. It's down to personal preference which version you prefer. The 710 shares many parts with the 610 series. The SSS coupe had independant rear suspension. Something that surprisingly, the later A10 lacked. The A10 didn;t have pillarless windows either, instead opting for hinged rear windows. Anyhow here is the link http://www.datsunworld.com/710/index.htm I weant one they look the part.
