I was talking to a dude yesterday and he said Lynx/Link? is the only way to go as the speed cut is hard wired into the computer and it is the only way to remove it is to biff the computer and use a aftermarket, which will also open my car up to about 600Hp.
The  engine used at Lemans had twin turbos and put out over 1000Kw, I'm happy with the 270Kw apart from the speed cut.

I had a R32 sold it and brought this ,heaps more power than a RB25

Malcolm,

You might try Link Electrosystems if you run out of options, they've always been really helpful and really know their stuff. I know the Skyline guys (god there's so many these days :)  just clip one wire to remove the speed cut (in the auto and manual) and haven't heard of any problems. Sounds too good to be true though .. If you could identify the wire and try this you can always reattach it - primitive but maybe an idea.
