Andy, Tough question, I think the answer to this one will be apparent only after the rear discs are operational. It will depend on what size rear wheel cylinders are on the drum rear end and what the system felt like in the first place. If this was a Datsun diff and the rear cylinders were 13/16" then there's a better than even chance that the master cylinder wouldn't require changing to work reasonably well. Say there was a 3/4" m/cylinder then it would work OK, but would most likely be much better with a 13/16". If the original rw/cyls are smaller than 13/16" then I'm nearly certain you'll need a larger master cylinder with the discs to prevent premature rear wheel lockup.
