Well you should really come down and talk to them. If you can't wait until the next meeting you should contact Scott Janson (mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]) (on this list) and ask him for some contacts. The car sounds nice. How much are you budgeting for a racing year? And how much is he asking for it?

S15, but looking to buy a 1600 off a friend for track racing/road rallies. The car�ran consistent 3rds in sports sedans, came 13th outright at an Eastern Creek 6 hour (even bumped a Jag off the track at the end of the front straight under brakes - the jags paint is still on the bumper) and hasn't had any accidents. Full seam welded, fj20 with webbers, 5 speed dog box, heavy duty clutch, fuel cell with dual pumps in the boot and bolt in cage. Not sure what suspension is in it, but the brakes are standard with the exception of some Bendex (I think) racing pads. There is a second set of wheels and racing rubber, although not much else in the way of spares. The major problem with it at the moment is that it has been sitting in a paddock for many months and has had the paint eaten off it in various places by a couple of horses. Therefore new paint job required for it and the trailer that is being sold with it.

Hence the reason to talk to some of you guys at the meeting - find out how much the car is worth, as well as to find out about racing 1600's in Brisbane.
