B/Bird dissy dismantling & Jaycar programmable ignition

Hi list,   I am about to install the Jaycar programmable ignition kit (electronically controlled advance). I have had the kit laying around for a few months and finally decided to build it.   Has anyone already installed this kit in a Datsun? Any tips on interfacing it with the Bluebird electronic dissy? I am guessing that you just "splice" the computer into the black leads that go to the Bluebird ignition computer from the reluctor.   Is there an easy way to remove the two black reluctor coil wires inside the S2 B/Bird electronic dissy?
