Cam,
Yeah unfortunately not in an irs powered 510:) Ohh well was good fun trying. I have slotted my rear cross member and i put in some standard hieght springs so it was running positive camber stationary - not sure when it squated but prolly not that much. The tyres i had on are reall sticky but theyre only real small 14s and theyre not very wide....
Another guy from the club (GODATO) managed a 12.9@108mph on one of his runs (Fj20det) which was pretty tidy!
Have you been back out agian???
Steve.

Stick with it Steve...106mph is worth high 12's in a well sorted car.  What sort of camber do you run on the rear???? Cam

 Daniel,
Unfortunately didnt go any quicker - didnt have any Avgas this time but still managed a 13.4@106mph. I still havent been able to put down a decent 60 foot time, i think that run was something like a 2.15. Was either bogging down to much or lighting up all gears?!?! So times arent really gunna improve till the 60's come down a fair bit....
Was good fun thou!!
Steve.

After i found out Anthony was running 7's in the FJ i thought id try them in the Z18 and they seem to be working real well so far ( i used to always use bpr6es). Ran up to 20 pound last nite at the runs on pump gas no worries. I think ill stick with them..

Subject: Spark Plugs for FJ20
Hi all, I have noticed some discussion both on this list and others regarding spark plugs to suit FJ20 engines. I have been using NGK BP7es now for a while and have not had any problems. I noticed however that many people are using the hotter NGK BP6es. Which plugs should I be using? Is there any performance benefit from using the hotter plug or vice versa? Any ideas? Mark.
